- What is the item: The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is an advanced-level, at-home chemical peel that provides high-strength exfoliation to both the skin's surface and within the pores.
-
Benefits:
- Pro-Level Results: Offers comparable results to an in-office professional acid peel in just one week.
- Textural Improvement: Visibly evens out skin texture and smooths the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
- Brightening: Targets hyperpigmentation and dark spots to reveal a more radiant, uniform skin tone.
- Pore Congestion: Penetrates deep into pores to clear buildup, helping to reduce blemishes, blackheads, and whiteheads.
-
Who and how to use this product:
- Who: Recommended only for experienced users of chemical exfoliation. It should not be used on sensitive, peeling, or compromised skin.
- How: Apply a thin layer to thoroughly clean, dry skin (never wet) in the evening. Leave on for no more than 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Use a maximum of twice per week.
- Sun Alert: Use sunscreen and limit sun exposure for a week after each use, as it increases sun sensitivity.
-
Ingredients (Key ingredient + rest):
- Key Ingredients: 30% Alpha Hydroxy Acids (Glycolic, Lactic, Tartaric, Citric) and 2% Beta Hydroxy Acid (Salicylic Acid).
- Rest of Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Tasmanian Pepperberry (anti-irritant), Hyaluronic Acid Crosspolymer, Vitamin B5 (Panthenol), and Black Carrot Extract.
-
What best combine with:
- For Hydration: Apply The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 immediately after rinsing and drying to replenish lost moisture.
- For Barrier Repair: Follow with The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Squalane or Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA to seal in hydration.
- Avoid: Do not use in the same routine as Retinoids, other strong direct acids (like Glycolic Acid 7% Toner), Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid), or Copper Peptides.
